The cheapest way to use Veo, Kling and Sora
The flagship video models are sold in three different ways: bundled into a premium chat subscription, bundled into a video tool's tier, or per second through an API. The per-second route is the cheapest for anyone who is not rendering all day, and it is the only one where you can mix models.
How the flagships are sold
Sora is mostly offered as part of a premium chat subscription, so you pay for the subscription whether you make video or not. Kling and Veo are available through their own apps with credit tiers that reset monthly. All three are also available per second through API-based workspaces, where the cost is the seconds you render and nothing else.
The catch with API access directly is that it is for developers. A workspace that fronts the APIs with a normal interface, and shows the per-second price up front, gives you the developer price without the developer work.
What actually drives the cost
Duration first: a ten-second clip costs twice a five-second one. Resolution second: 1080p costs more than 720p on most models. Then the model tier itself: 'turbo' or 'lite' variants are often half the price of the flagship and good enough for drafts. The habit that saves the most money is drafting on a cheaper variant and rendering the final on the flagship.
How to do it in Vyndexo
Draft cheap
Generate the first versions on a fast variant (for example Kling turbo or Veo lite) at 720p and five seconds.
Lock the shot
Once the motion and framing are right, keep the prompt and reference in the project.
Render on the flagship
Switch to the flagship model for the final clip; the prompt and inputs carry over.
Pay for what rendered
Successful clips are charged in Tools credits; failures are free; credits never expire.
Common questions
Is per-second always cheaper than a subscription?
For occasional and moderate use, yes. If you render many minutes every day, a Workspace plan with a monthly allowance is cheaper per second; the pricing page shows both.
Which Kling and Veo versions are available?
The current versions in the catalog, including Kling 2.6, Kling 3.0 and turbo variants, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 lite. The Models page lists them live.
Can I use Sora here?
The catalog shows which OpenAI video models are currently available; check the Models page for the live list.
