AI credits explained
Credits are the honest way to price AI: every model has a real cost per call, and credits pass that cost through instead of hiding it in a flat fee. Once you understand the three or four rules, a credit system is easier to predict than any subscription.
Two balances, two jobs
Vyndexo keeps two balances. Chat credits fund the premium chat models and come with every paid plan each month. Tools credits fund images, video, agents and research, and can be used for any chat model too. Tools credits come with the Workspace plans and can be bought in packs by anyone, including Free users.
The split exists because chat and media have very different costs. A chat message costs a fraction of a cent; a ten-second flagship video clip can cost a euro or more. Mixing them in one allowance would make a plan either useless for video or absurdly priced for chat.
The rules that matter
Bought credits never expire. Plan credits roll over for a month on Workspace and three months on Workspace Max. Nothing is deducted for a failed generation, on any plan. Every model shows its price before you run it, and the total for a generation is shown before you confirm. Those four rules remove every unpleasant surprise a subscription can produce.
Estimating your month
Count what you actually make in a typical week: messages on premium models, images, seconds of video. Multiply by the per-unit prices shown in the workspace. Most people are surprised in the right direction: chat is nearly free, images are cents, and video is where the money goes, which is exactly where you want to control it.
